Ripples of Kindness
Ripple kindness with us. Let's gather in circles and inspire each other by sharing what we are grateful for and how we are kind to ourselves, nature, each other, and future generations. Let's connect and flow in happiness.
Ripples of Kindness is a gratitude practice where each circle represents one ripple of kindness. The purpose is to meet for conversations in equality and inclusivity without hierarchy. Where focus is on how we can bring more happiness into our lives and the lives of others.
An aerial picture will be captured of the formation when everyone are lying on their backs, gazing at the sky, so we can digitally ripple kindness to our community, friends, and family.
15-30 minute guided gratitude practice
We gather in a circle and place our backs to the earth. As we gaze at the sky, we breathe deep and slow to calm our nervous system. We watch the clouds pass like the thoughts in our minds, letting them go while observing new ones being formed until silence arrives. We contemplate what we are grateful for, shifting our focus to what brings us happiness. As happiness flows within us, we ask ourselves how we can ripple kindness today. After a while, we start to move our bodies slowly. We stand up and shake, then moving into a dance guided by the rhythm from within. We are invited to laugh, knowing that we can trick our bodies to release happy hormones, we move beyond our comfort zones, letting go of our fear of being judged, and laugh with curiosity to see what happens both individually and collectively in the circle. Slowly, we return to silence, grateful for the air that breathes life into us all. We sit down with a stranger, taking turns sharing our experiences as the other practices listening. Those who wish to share their experiences with everyone are welcome to do so at the end. We close the circle by giving thanks to nature for giving us all life, allowing us to be here together.
"When kindness ripples from me, happiness flow within me."
The Happy Hearts
Happy Hearts is set to be released during spring 2024. Above is a mockup of the "flow of happiness," which is our science-based framework. Happy Hearts' mission is to spread happiness through art and nature. Multiple art projects are created, with the Human Alphabet being the initial project that Happy Hearts has sparked.
Human Peace Sign
The above picture was originally created by myself and my wife Fia Agoo together with 500 children from Östermalmsskolan. It was to bring awareness about the International Day of Peace, September 21.
I've cloned out the center to be able to illustrate the newly born concept "Ripples of Kindness". My aim is to do the first real image during 2024.
