I believe we are here to give life to life. Our actions will either create or take life.

The more I reflect of the cycle of life the closer I get to a sense of well-being and happiness, rooted in gratitude for life itself. Spending time with the Shiva Monk in Cambodia, who lived under a waterfall, gave me a few good insights. He spent his days observing nature, he said that as soon as you get quiet and still nature reveals itself, the animals come up to you and connect, they are curious and not afraid. We meditated for a while, and then he gifted me his Shiva stick that he had carved himself.

The magic is always present when I am.

Deep into the rainforest, far from light and sound pollution are places that naturally calm the central nervous system. Nature comes alive within and I can experience a magical connection by just breathing consciously.

GREALD Forest Conservation

From a young age, the rainforests, with their rich wildlife and the wisdom of indigenous peoples, have deeply fascinated me. This profound connection to these vibrant ecosystems grew stronger as I grew older and I asked myself, What can I do, and how? The answer came in the form of Gerald Prolman, a visionary dedicated to safeguarding rainforests by selling carbon credits to corporations.

His product is nothing short of remarkable – he is essentially selling air! This realisation filled me with a rush of exhilaration. I had found a company whose product I was genuinely eager to support with my art and creativity. A product that truly benefits the planet.

With a huge smile on my lips, I said, “Gerald, I would love to support you and your company Everland with my photography and art." Our connection was instant, and since then, we have collaborated on multiple productions across the globe. My assignment is essentially to bring the rainforest into the boardroom.

Over the last three years, Everland has funnelled over 500 million USD into various forest projects, and they are only getting started. Being a part of this journey, using my art to amplify Everland's crucial message, makes me sleep very well at night.
